Our beloved Laura is currently on maternity leave! We do not have plans to bring on another manual osteopathic practitioner at this time. If you are seeking osteopathic care, we are referring all clients to the wonderful team at Royal City Osteopathy.

Classical Osteopathy is a non-invasive form of manual medicine. Osteopathic Practitioners have an extensive knowledge of functional anatomy, physiology, and collective body mechanics. They use this knowledge to apply a variety of principles-based, hands-on assessment and treatment techniques to gently restore normal motion mechanics. This creates space for arteries, veins, lymphatic vessels and nerves to move through the body and keep the tissues healthy.

The body has an amazing capacity to heal itself, and it does this best when each part of the body is in alignment and able to move and function properly. Osteopathic Practitioners look at the health of the whole body, not just the injured or affected part. When the whole body functions better, it's in a stronger position to protect and heal itself from injury and damage!

Emily is a skilled Massage Therapist committed to helping her patients achieve their therapeutic goals. She provides treatment in a bright, welcoming space that is inclusive for everyBODY.

Emily graduated with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education. During her time at Laurier, she was a member of the Wilfrid Laurier Competitive Dance Team. While working as a physiotherapist assistant at A Body In Motion Rehabilitation, she discovered her passion for massage therapy. After completing her degree, she enrolled in the Accelerated Massage Therapy Program at the Ontario College of Health and Technology, designed specifically for Kinesiology graduates.

Emily has advanced training in Sports Massage and Clinical Cupping Therapy, expanding her ability to support patients recovering from injuries, managing pain, or improving mobility. She also has a strong interest in prenatal and postpartum massage, helping individuals experience less painful pregnancies, improved birth experiences, and a more supported postpartum recovery. She takes a thoughtful and supportive approach to care, helping new and expectant parents feel their best through all stages of pregnancy and beyond.

She is experienced in treating both chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions, tailoring each treatment to the patient’s unique needs. Her approach blends hands-on therapy, movement strategies, and home care guidance to support long-term wellness. She is dedicated to continuous learning and regularly attends courses and conferences to enhance her skills.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time at the cottage, discovering new restaurants, and staying active through group fitness classes, hiking, and walks. She’s also a big fan of movies and TV shows and can often be found with a Starbucks in hand—her weekly treat.

Hey, I’m Jules (she/her),

My friends would probably describe me as a curious black cat. I’ve always been fascinated by the human condition and the deep dark secrets of the universe. Before graduating with honours from Sutherland-Chan for Massage Therapy, those curiosities originally led me to pursue Psychology at the University of Guelph. As a fresh grad in a pandemic, unsure of where I wanted to go in life but knowing that my mission was to help other humans, I found Massage Therapy. Helping others through touch has always been an instinct, just ask my mom who I’ve given many a foot rub although not as many as she deserves. It wasn’t until I began studying the body that I realized how truly connected the mind and body are, and that maybe my degree wasn’t a total waste.

Don’t worry I promise not to psychoanalyze you, instead I’ll put that energy into making your time with me feel as safe, calm and supportive as possible. Pregnancy is a time of transition, and while my goal is to help treat your body’s physical changes I will also strive to help support you with whatever mental transitions you are facing by providing a non-judgmental space for you to be yourself and have a chance for an hour of calm and relaxation.

I know first hand the impacts that injury, hypermobility or pain can have on our quality of life but I also know the impacts that anxiety and depression can have on our bodies and so my approach will always be to treat you as a whole person and to give you the care, kindness and attention that you deserve.

When I’m not working you’ll find me curled up watching movies or in the car listening to music, but fair warning… If you get stuck next to me at a red light I apologize for my obnoxious singing and dance moves in advance.

Hi, I’m Laura! I love all things homemade and can usually be found trying new recipes or reading a good book. As an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, I’m always seeking to learn more about how our bodies are designed and how to help them function at their best. I’m passionate about caring for families through infancy, pregnancy, and beyond, as these transitions are a great time to create strong foundations for a healthy life!

Hi, I’m Eszter! (they/them)

I am an incredibly dedicated massage therapist and truly love what I do. Offering care in the form of bodywork is an immense privilege, and I believe that working with people around life transitions such as pregnancy is a deeply sacred thing.

In my practice and beyond, I am passionate about equity and access to education, especially around the topics of sexual and reproductive health. I’m also a professional astrologer and always happy to chat about the stars!

Fascia is one of my special interests. The way that connective tissue responds to the nervous system is fascinating, and I believe it is my ability to attune to the body’s subtle energy that makes me a uniquely effective pain reliever. I also love working with scars, from caesareans to top surgery.

Outside of work you can find me building my vinyl collection or planting my pollinator garden. I love a creative project and dabble in poetry, pottery, and watercolour. I’m a very curious person and love to learn - recently I’ve been diving deep into medicinal plants and adaptogenic mushrooms.

I am body- and fat-positive, trauma-informed, and my work is rooted in my anti-oppressive ethics. I believe that my values make me a better massage therapist, and that they allow me to hold the safest, most comforting space possible for each and every body.

Hi, I’m Victoria Munro (she/her),

If you looked at my interests when I was 7, it would become quite clear how I got to where I am today. I loved watching TLC’s A Baby Story and my mom would gloat about my back massage skills to anyone who would listen. With a brief detour in public relations, I finally found my way to my passion of perinatal massage therapy and lactation support. I have completed the Mohawk Massage Therapy Program and am in good standing with the CMTO, and have over 500 hours training in lactation support in both hospital and private practice settings.

To bring a child earthside can wreak havic on your body, and it brings me such joy to be able to offer healing hands, an educated mind and an open heart to all who come to me for help. I strongly believe that knowledge is power and that we are not educated enough about our bodies, especially throughout the childbearing process. The confidence I watch grow inside each new family I work with will always drive me to continue to do what I do.

I meet every family where they’re at and will work to provide treatment and after care that will best help them meet their goals while still giving them space to heal and enjoy their new addition(s)!

When I am not working with new or expecting parents I can be found playing with my son and dog or watching food network with my husband !

Hi, I’m MaryBeth Templeton. I have been a massage therapist since 1997. In 2014, I completed a three year acupuncture program and re-focussed my practice on helping others experience the remarkable benefits of acupuncture. I utilize the Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities of acupuncture, gua sha and moxibustion in my practice. I have completed further education in pregnancy and post-natal care, and in treating pain conditions. I am also a trained aromatherapist and Reiki practitioner, and may include energy work and essential oils as appropriate. I find helping people through their pregnancies to be particularly satisfying. I love my pregnant clients, and I love the elegance of using a few tiny needles to ease discomfort, improve sleep, calm anxiety, prepare for labour and even coax baby into the best position for birth. When not with clients, I recharge in nature with hiking, paddling, camping and cross country skiing. I also love movies, books, my partner and my cat, plus spending time with great friends.
